Del Mar landscaping and outdoor living in San Diego County.

This 5 Million Dollar home is just blocks away from the ocean. Breceda Landscape did everything from Rock Boulders, a concrete water feature wall planting and it’s a complete drought-tolerant landscape with in a very advanced irrigation system.

Eric Breceda created 17hydro-zones consisting of 12 drip systems with an adjustable flow-rate, in addition to five low-volume spray rotor systems. This makes the irrigation system more efficient by decreasing water usage by 30 percent to 40 percent.
“I create sustainable microclimates,” Eric Breceda explained. “After a year or two, if the homeowner follows my instructions, they don’t need me anymore. But sometimes they’ll invite me over for a barbecue.”
Breceda also integrated boulders into the landscaping, which offered the dual advantage of filling space while reducing water consumption. Dymondia were planted between the rocks to create stability.
